Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Orbius (the "Bot"), a Discord application made available by HostUnify. By adding Orbius to a Discord server, or by using any of its commands, you agree to these Terms on behalf of yourself and, where applicable, the server you manage.

01Acceptance of these Terms

By inviting Orbius to a server, configuring any of its modules, or running any command, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and by Discord's own Terms of Service and Community Guidelines. If you do not agree, remove Orbius from your server and discontinue use.

02Description of the service

Orbius is a multi-purpose Discord bot offering server security (including anti-nuke protection and AutoMod), moderation tooling, automation (autoroles, autoresponders, tickets, reaction roles), engagement features (leveling, economy, starboard, giveaways, and similar), and informational commands, invoked through the . prefix or the commands Discord exposes for the Bot. Run .help <command> inside a server where Orbius is present for the specific arguments a command accepts.

03Eligibility

Orbius is only intended for use within Discord, and your use of it is subject to Discord's minimum age requirements. You must have the necessary permissions on a server (or be the server owner) to configure modules that affect other members, such as moderation, security, or automation features.

04Acceptable use

You agree not to use Orbius to:

  • Violate Discord's Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, or any applicable law;
  • Harass, abuse, threaten, or impersonate any person or entity;
  • Spam, raid, or attempt to disrupt the operation of other servers or of Orbius itself;
  • Attempt to exploit, reverse-engineer, or interfere with Orbius's underlying systems;
  • Circumvent rate limits, permission checks, or other safeguards built into the Bot; or
  • Store, distribute, or solicit illegal content of any kind.

We reserve the right to restrict, rate-limit, or revoke a server's or user's access to Orbius, at our discretion, for conduct that we reasonably believe violates these Terms.

05Server owner & staff responsibilities

Security features such as anti-nuke protection, AutoMod, and chat filtering are designed to reduce risk, but no automated system can guarantee that a server will never be compromised, raided, or abused. Server owners and staff remain responsible for their own permission structure, role hierarchy, and moderation decisions, including any action taken using Orbius's moderation commands (such as .ban, .kick, .mute, or .jail). We are not liable for moderation actions taken by your own staff through the Bot.

06Premium features

Certain functionality may be limited to servers with an active premium entitlement (for example, via .premium activate). Premium access, pricing, and billing are handled through Discord's own monetization tools or a third-party payment processor, not directly by us. Refunds, where available, are handled according to the policies of that payment platform; for bot-side issues with a premium feature, contact us through the Support Server.

07Availability & changes to the service

We aim for high stability and minimal latency, and target 24/7 availability, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may add, modify, suspend, or remove commands, modules, or the Bot as a whole at any time, with or without notice, for maintenance, abuse prevention, or product reasons.

08Disclaimer of warranties

Orbius is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Bot will be secure, uninterrupted, or free of errors.

09Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, HostUnify and Orbius's developer(s) will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, or goodwill, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Bot — including damages resulting from moderation actions, configuration mistakes, or service interruptions.

10Termination

You may remove Orbius from your server at any time. We may suspend or terminate a server's or user's access to the Bot, in whole or in part, if we reasonably believe these Terms have been violated, without obligation to provide advance notice.

11Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of Orbius after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
